Wild Horses

Today I took the kids with me to Beaufort, NC we went on a 3 hour tour of Shackelford Island just a 15 min boat ride from Beaufort. It was a gorgeous day the weather was nice and we saw about 15 of the 100 wild horses on the island. Our tour guide was able to find us some good spots for viewing. Afterwards, we went on the beach and walked,I have never seen so many shells. Brody was so good he walked most of the way himself and did not want to leave the beach and waves. These are some of the pictures that we took on the island and the horses I will add some later of the beach and the town. These are straight out of the camera shots not photo shopped yet... I will eventually fix some of these pictures and display them later.
We are getting closer to Micky coming home and we really missed him today. I know that he would have loved it as well. Maybe next time we will walk the whole boardwalk and see Blackbeard's house.

I had to carry Brody through some of the water... kind of hard with a bag and camera to hold

All the horses had numbers on them the tour guide was able to tell us about some that he recognized.

I love this picture the horses are so used to people, they don't mind us standing so close.

This is Brody right before he fell down in the water

Brody looked so cute walking around town.

Sydney's Glamour shot

On the way home I found a pirate that was too cute to leave behind

GRRRR!!!
