Colorado Springs Day 1

Micky finally came home on Tuesday and we went on vacation Thursday. I feel like all I did was laundry when he came home.. I washed all his clothes on Tuesday then packed we got back the following Thursday night and I am doing laundry again. Colorado Springs was great, we loved it! 15 years ago we used to live there and we have always talked about going back to visit and maybe one day we will retire there. Colorado Springs is at the top of that retirement list it has grown but not in a bad way. It is so easy to get from one side of the city to the other with all the new roads. I took so many pictures but I am only going to post a few from each day that we were there.

This was our view as we drove out of the airport
Our first night we had reservations at the Flying W Ranch it's a great place to go and get that western cowboy vibe.

while we were at the ranch we saw some familiar F-15's they were from Seymour. They came in for the Airforce football game.

We kept having to say "bear" for Brody to turn and look he loves bears.

At the Flying W Ranch they feed about 6 hundred people in 20 mins after the meal they have cowboys that come out and sing western songs. But before you eat they explain how to get in line and get your food then we all pray, and he rings the dinner bell.
This is before the meal

This is during the meal it's delicious and homemade!
Micky said the applesauce tasted like grandma Jean's
