London Eye

We decided to take Sydney to London one last time before she heads back to the states for school. And we did a very touristy thing by going to the London Eye. It's a really, really, large ferris wheel which it's size is unmatched by anything I could ever describe to you.

You can tell my family is trilled,  that I take so many pictures of almost the same thing.

We bought our tickets ahead of time on base and saved ourselves about an hours wait. There is an area to buy tickets inside a building near the eye and your ticket comes with a short IMAX type movie all about the eye. We decided to watch it and maybe get our moneys worth.
Then we went outside and got in line for our turn. The line was only about 20 mins and eye never stops, but it is goes slow enough for one to board while it's still moving.

The view is amazing!

Well the London Eye is officially checked off the bucket list. I'm glad that we did it but I probably wouldn't pay to do it again.

After we left the eye we headed toward Hyde Park and went into the Natural History Museum. It was such a warm day that we thought it would be nice to get out the of heat. That was a big mistake because it was even hotter inside. This building didn't have air conditioning and we managed to hang around for about 45 minutes before we called a day and promised to take Brody back another time.

This is the Natural History Museum, it was really beautiful inside and out.

My family hates waiting in line for anything. Honestly the line was short and we only waited about 10 minutes before we made it inside.

I think this was Brody's favorite day in London because he loves dinosaurs so much. I can't wait to take him back when it's not so hot and we can really enjoy it.

Finally, we jumped back on the Tube and headed for home. It was a great day and we will have to wait several months before we are together again in this city.
