The thing you have to remember about Sundays, everything is either closed, or opens late and closes early. Our family is used to just getting up an hitting the road for adventure but that doesn't always work in this country.
I thought it would be nice to head over to Cambridge, and maybe go to the Fitzwilliam museum and maybe tour Kings College but it just didn't work out. The museum was not open until later in the day and we ended up just walking around Cambridge and enjoying the day away from home.
I absolutely love this city, the school are beautiful and there is so much history behind these walls.
Cambridge is a big city but nearly all the schools are located in a relatively small area. Which makes it an ideal place to visit. We only live about 30 mins away and I know we will make it back to tour some colleges and the Fitzwilliam museum.
Luckily the market was wonderful as always and we ended the day with some Belgium waffles.
We also went to one of our favorite malls and some musicians were outside playing music in the street.
